Community Outreach Programs

Not everyone can come to a college campus for a week in the middle of summer and sometimes an organization’s goals are better met with a tailored program.  That is where the MLW Outreach Program comes in.

County school systems, principals, teachers, community groups and youth-focused organizations look to MLW to provide unique and custom designed programs throughout the academic year and summer. Whether you represent a school or community organization, you can employ MLW and its dynamic facilitators to provide programs that vary from several hours to several days and are specifically tailored to meet the needs and goals of your particular group. MLW works closely with its outreach clients to craft workshops that fit their organizational needs, schedule and budget.

Our dynamic facilitators will travel to you for one day or overnight programs. Using creative teaching techniques,MLW will design and facilitate workshops that engage, empower and educate participants.

Clients select from a variety of workshops including:

• Motivation

• Advocacy

• Project Planning

Testimonials from Past Outreach Clients

The Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) and MLW have had a great working relationship for many years. MLW provides the type of leadership training that enables our student members to be the active and effective leaders that we wish them to be. I value most highly the support and advice they are always willing to impart. They are an awesome resource and partner in our drive to create the best student leaders Maryland can develop.
Lance Ledebur,MASC Executive Director
